Ranu is a melodious singer who was Born in Christian family in Ranaghat, West Bengal. Ranu was married to Babul Mondal of Mumbai and she shifted to Mumbai after marriage.She returned to her village, Ranaghat, Westbengal. after the death of his husband Babul. At that time Ranu faced many critical tough situations because of lack of money , So for Money Ranu started singing on Railway Platform to earn her lilvelihood. Ranu has one Daughter also . Ranu’s Daughter went away from her mother for about 10 Years because Ranu Used to Sing on Railway Platform. But after the massive success of Ranu, Singing ,her Daughter returned to her .

When Ranu Mondal was only 20 Years old, as her hobby she used to sing in Clubs . She was known by name Ranu Bobby at that time .As her family members didn’t liked her singing she soon left singing in club .
After the death of her husband Babul , she returned to her village and started singing at Ranaghat Railway Station to earn money for her living. Ranu was witnessed by many but forgotten by all very soon.
One day a Software Engineer, Atindra Chakraborty identified her beautiful voice. Atindra, made a video of her while singing a song and put it on social media. In Video she was singing Lata Mangeshkar’s Song, “Ekk Pyar Ka Nagma Hai”. The Video of her while singing got viral overnight and her voice got highly appreciated by people and even from the big Celebrities. Now days she is a part of trending news .
