Types of Servers:-
There are basically three types of servers, but you need to focus yourselves only on two.
- Shared Servers.
- Virtual Private Servers.
- Dedicated servers.
Shared Server:-
Shared servers are servers that are shared between customers. For eg., if you buy a server from BlueHost, a shared server, then you’d be allocated space and resources from the server and the same space and resources are also used by other customers of the server company.
Think of it as renting a room or an apartment. You don’t rent the whole apartment, you just rent out a specific room, that room has all your resources and needs.
But the apartment is also shared by other customers, right? There are other customers who’ve rented out other rooms of the same apartment. That’s what a shared server is like.
You guys share not just the room, but also the resources if needed with one another like if a specific customer extremely overloads the website, your server might go down too because after all, you’re a part of the same apartment.
Virtual Private Server ( VPS ):-
VPS servers are the same thing as shared servers, the only difference is in this case you aren’t renting a room and aren’t sharing your resources with anyone. Instead, you’re renting the whole of the apartment.
But then again, you need to be pretty smooth with managing servers if you’re going for VPS! You don’t get as many automated management or installation services are you’re getting with Shared servers.
But well VPS is like owning your own apartment, you’ve got to clean it, wash it, keep it maintained all on your own. While the shared is the property of someone else, someone else owns and manages it, you just “live” there.
So I’d say VPS is what you need to go with if you’re in for a more advanced server, with more and better resources. A VPS is something that can handle a lot of traffic, and by lot, I mean around 100x times more than the shared.
So bottom line? VPS has all the superpowers that you get with dedicated servers, just on a smaller, and pocket-friendly budget.

Dedicated Servers:-
These are the best kinds available. So naturally, the most expensive ones.
The primary difference between Shared and Dedicated servers is that, on shared, more than one website is hosted on the same server.
While on the dedicated, just your websites are present. (Of course, more than one is possible, but you’re the owner, the client, and the customer! No other customers allowed unless you choose otherwise!)
With dedicated servers you get huge resources, unlike shared servers which are limited, dedicated servers are unlimited. In every aspect.
Shared servers are limited because the other customers on the servers need to be satisfied too, while that’s not the case with dedicated servers.
Management is yet another key difference. Let me put it this way, shared servers can be managed with 2/10 technical skills, while dedicated servers demand 11/10 technical skills. Yeah, that’s how I rate it.

Just go over there, enter the website URL, and click on find hosts.
And the website information would be provided to you.
